This 1957 Mercedes-Benz 190SL was acquired here in California in 2020, and it subsequently underwent a cosmetic refurbishment. The exterior was refinished in red, the bumpers were re-chromed, and the interior was refreshed with replacement carpeting. Power comes from a 1.9-liter M121 inline-four mated to a four-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes dual Solex carburetors, power-assisted brakes, a brown soft top, tan leather upholstery, and a Becker radio. Additional work is said to have included an oil change and replacement of the spark plugs and starter. The car was repainted its current shade of red following the selling dealer’s purchase.
