Very Clean Example! 305 V8, Auto, Wow! Stock #: 5947-DFW Exterior Color: Bright Red Interior Color: Red Body Type: Convertible Transmission: 4 Speed Automatic Drivetrain: RWD Engine: 305 V8 Mileage: 9,942 This 1987 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Convertible really brings it all together. It's the first official year for the convertible, and this is an exceptionally preserved low-mileage example. And you have awesome original paint, a loaded leather interior, and the numbers-matching V8 to make this a terrific time capsule. Bright Red is always a great factory color to have on a Camaro, and so it only gets better when you have a good shine on a sunshine-friendly convertible. But more than just the right color, this Camaro has a timeless sense of cool. The black hood inserts add a nice touch that complements the black headlight housings. But more than just great colors, what makes this one extra special is that it's a three-owner car that hasn't even filled in all the places on the odometer yet. It has a known history and terrific paperwork that lets you know it has been carefully preserved to be such a straight, clean, and shining example from the Camaro's 20th anniversary year. Not only is this the Camaro's second-decade benchmark, but it's also the first official year of the convertible. You could get specialty drop-top versions built before this, and often not powered, but this is the first factory-backed one of its generation. So it breaks a dry spell of factory convertibles since 1969. It's a lot of history to know, but it also explains why the right people hold this in such high regard. For everyone else, they will just marvel at the optional red leather interior. It was a pricey option in 1987, and we have the window sticker to prove it. Low mileage means little seat time, and this upholstery looks awesome. It's loaded with the best factory features like power windows, power locks, an A...
